DIY Thanksgiving Napkin Holders

Can you believe you can make this from just a roll of toilet paper, Dollar Store leaves and some glitter?! I’m pretty sure they sell something equally as magnificent at Pier 1 for like $15.99 per napkin holder… but were on a mission for low budget decorating this year and these bad boys are right up our alley!

Super easy- just cut your toilet paper roll into 4 inch chunks. You can also use a paper towel roll since they seem to be a little sturdier. Paint the outside AND inside of your roll which ever color you desire.img_06001

Next you want to paint your leaves. I tried doing this will spray glue but the paint seemed to give the leaves a little more stiffness which is a good thing when you glue them to the ring. It looks much better to have the crisp edges of the leave sticking out as opposed to wilted over around the roll.  As always, don’t hold back with the glitter!

Once dry, use a hot glue gun to attach to ring and let dry for at least 2 hours. I finished mine off with a coat of spray glue over the top to seal in any glitter that may come off but this is totally optional!

I hope this adds a little sparkle to your holiday table! I’ve got a TON more Fall crafts in the works to be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out!
